Moving to the Astana open where Greek maestro Stefanos Tsitsipas(ATP:6) defeated Andrey Rublev(ATP:9) 4 6, 6 4, 6 3, to reach the finals, it was a close match but afterTsitispas broke Rublev in the last game of the second set, he changed the match's gear and matched on to victory, like i said yesterday, he had a very good control of his service games plus Rublev made a lot of unforced errors. Tsitsipas has now beaten Rublev six times in his career.
In the other Game of the day Novak Djokovic(ATP:7) benefited from Danil Medvedev's retirement. The game ended 4 6, 6 6(8 6), Medvedev(ATP:4) taking the first set, Novak taking the second via tie-break and Medvedev's eventual retirement before the third set. Djokovic will now face Tsitsipas in the final on Sunday by 11:30 GMT.
Moving on to Ostrava Open a WTA Event, Barbora Krejcikova(ATP:23) gave her home fans a lot to cheer about as she came back from behind to beat Elena Rybakina(ATP:26) in 3 sets 3 6, 7 6(7 4) 6 4, this result sets up a final with Iga Switek(ATP:1) who defeated Russia's Ekaterina Alexandrova(ATP:21) in 3 sets. They'll both face up for the Ostrava Open trophy by 13:30 GMT.
Our last focus will be at the Monastir WTA. Contrary to fans expectations Alize Cornet(ATP:37) defeated Veronika Kudermetova in two straight sets, she earned a 6 4, 6 3 triumph over her and she will be facing Belgium's Elise Mertens(ATP:42) who defeated Claire Liu 6 4, 6 0 tomorrow. It all comes down between this two by 13:00 GMT.
