Rublev wins the Gijon ATP
Rublev was on fire yesterday. He won the Gijon ATP in two straight sets.
In his fourth title of the year, Rublev started on a high point from the first set, he broke Korda twice (in the fourth game and in the last one) he converted two of the three break points he had in the first set to cruise to a 6-2 lead.
He started the second set in a similar fashion, Rublev is quite hard on himself, he won all his service games and converted one of the two break points he had to break korda, that was enough as he got a 6-3 win in the second set.
He hit 3 aces, had 0 double fault, won 76% of his serve points, 68% of his second serve and saved 100% of the break points he faced.
He also won 35% of his first return points, 52% of his second and he converted 60% of the break points he had, he hit 30 winners and won 64% of the net point. I must add that he won 100% of his service games.
Rublev has added another title to his cabinet this season after his triumph in Marseille, Dubai and Belgrade earlier in the year
