Order of Play of the Florence ATP

Berrettini and Felix during the Florence ATP draw

 The Inaugural Florence ATP is in the round of sixteen(16) stage. Felix and Berrettini are top seeds 1 and 2 respectively.

Play will continue today by 11:00 GMT when Mackenize McDonald (ATP:79) faces fellow country man Jenson Brooksby (ATP:42) this won't be the first match up between this two in recent times. Just last month Brooksby defeated McDonald at the San Diego ATP in the United States, he did it in three(3) sets, he'll for sure hope for a better result when they meet again today. Whoever wins will play against Francesco Passaro in the round  of sixteen(16)

Aslan Karatsev (ATP:39) will play Mikae Ymar (ATP:99) by 12:00 GMT.

 At 13:30 GMT  USA Jeffrey John Wolf (ATP:75) will battle fellow country man Maxime Crossy (ATP:33).

By 15:00 GMT Spain's Roberto Carbelles Baena (ATP:80) will face Home favourite Mateo Berrettini (ATP:16).Mateo Berrettini is on course to win and he still has a lot to do if he wants to qualify for the ATP finals in Turin, winning today should not be a problem for him though.

The last match of the day is between Kazakhstan's Alexandar Bublik (ATP:43) and France's Ceretin Moutet (ATP:69) the game will take place by 20:00 GMT.

The rest of the round of sixteen matches will be played tomorrow.

This is a pivotal UEFA Champions League (UCL) clash for both Benfica and Juventus, with the hosts in the driving seat.   Dominic Thiem saved three match points today as he defeated Hubert Hurkacz in three sets, he will face Sebastian Korda who defeated Yoshihito Nishioka to reach this stage. Thiem has finally gotten his form back and we have seen the way he's been playing over a few weeks, tomorrow is another test for him, facing Korda who has been top notch in recent times, Korda reached the finals of the Gijon Open last week in the same competition Thiem participated in. Can he make it two finals in two weeks? We will know when they play against each other by 15:30 GMT. The second semi final of the day will see Richard Gasquet go head to head vs Felix Auger-Alliasime. Carloz Alcaraz is set to play Felix Auger-Alliaime by 14:30 GMT, it has being quite an open for both players, they've had easy opponents to face and today is the first big test for each of them. Today's game will be the third time they'll face each other, Felix has won in the former two encounters against Carlos. Today's match will be a different one, Carlos has been playing very well so I don't expect Felix to have an easy ride. Felix's form is another thing to consider, he won two 250-ATP titles in the past two weeks. Today's match will see a lot of shot making. The best player among the two will win for sure.
